I was elected yesterday as a town council member. I am the youngest, 18 years old. In two weeks, all six people will have to go to the back room, ask who wants what and then (fight about it) then we would announce it to the public.
I am interest in becoming the president. I am taking a Women History Class at the college and it makes me realize that if a woman has an opportunity to run for something they should take that advantage and take the highest position.
Can you give me input to convince the other council member that a young person can do it? Thank you.Need Help! Can you give me words of advice to convince the others that I can be president?
Speak your ideas and thoughts. And say how you want to do this and explain how.
Explain your background and qualifications. Aim to impress. And you willNeed Help! Can you give me words of advice to convince the others that I can be president?
i am convinced now for the other millions of voters
As president you can't vote except to break ties, but point out the fact that you are adult enough to ask for advise when in doubt, as you are now.
i agree that help is needed to become president of the united states, but you are asking random people on ';yahoo answers';
i hope you have more of a plan that this
Tell them you got what they lack: Girl power!
micheellee if george h.w. bush and george w bush can be president then anyone can be president of anything they want to be. so you just hang tight and give them hell. good luck and i truely hope you win.
If you are talking about President of the United States, you need a college and graduate education.
Simply because you are interested, does not mean at this point in time, you are qualified. If you have never served before (which is the gist I get), you don't have the tenure and you don't have the experience.
P.S.: (You need to check your grammar and sentence structure).
The first thing you should do is read the U.S. Constitution.
You have to be at least 35 years of age to become President...according to the Constitution.
{No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.}
You should tell the council members that you are the best for the job, you do not drink, steal or cheat. Then they will ask you if you do not do any of those things what makes you think you are suited to sit on the town council anyway.
Let me start by saying.. Just because you learned in history a woman should take every oppurtunity, that is not a good attitude to have. (You should let the best person for the job have it, regardless of gender, age, or sexual orientation)
(My dear give the wood back, we homosexuals need it, women lib is over)
But if you would make a fierce leader and know how to combine everyones thoughts and ideas and get them working from one agenda, then you are by far the best leader and should ask for it.
sweetie you be careful in that back room ,i suggest dress like a business woman ,keep a jacket on at all times,be professional..and for gods sake do not drop your pants...do this and you be good at what you dream to do..good day mam ,and no disrespect meant...be yourself,originality ...and truth...cheers
You will have to ask yourself why you feel you are qualified to be president.
When you know why you are qualified, you will be able to convince others your are qualified.
Tell them you are NOT a liberal!
tell them that you are an idiot but you want to be THEIR IDIOT... so to speak... that usually goes over well... and wear something that makes you look HOT that always goes over well... but make sure that what ever you do... do not say UM or UH and don't shift around nervously that makes you look like an idiot it doesn't really matter what you say sometimes... it is how you present it... be confident when you say you are an idiot
