the single most important thing is don't give up.
it's a long road, lots of studying, lots of sacrifices, but the truth is that for most people the only way they don't make it is if they quit.
the people who got into med school just to see if they could, and the ones who were there because they were trying to please their parents were gone within two months. The ones who really needed to be a doctor, because it fulfilled a deep desire for them, they all turned out to be wonderful doctors.
don't let a flunked quiz or a psycho instructor keep you from what you want, even if you have to try, try again.
seriously, you'll make it if you just don't quit.
