Well, congratulations! These are some exciting times for you. I guess one piece of advice from someone who lives in a place away from homeland and has lived in various countries: May sound too evident but i will give it a try: ';Avoid to have any expectations.'; You are about to discover a new Singapore, your new Singapore. Some anthropologist believes that you must travel far to finally do a solid and most insightful ethnography ';back at home.'; I agree. I think that staying open is the key, and I mean really open. You are about to begin an incredible journey within your people and within yourself. I wish you all the best.
Ouch! This is an extremely eventful year for you. Alot of extremities crossing your path. You are very decisive I should say despite what has happened. YOu hardly had a breather or a moment to sigh. Wonder how you make up all those big decisions in such a short span but its a good sign. I think Singapore can use a rare talent like you. It is a great move. I think it is better to be a big fish in a small pond then a small fish in the ocean. You will do great. It takes time to readjust, all the new friends and lifestyles and the weather (!!!!). But, whatever happens, please remember that everything is different in Singapore. So, do expect people to be different. Be tolerant and patient if things or treatment you get are different. Esp. when you are imported (although the parts are made in Singapore), people will be wary of you as you are a threat to them. An oversea exposure always give you an edge over others. More so if you speak different. (Do you?). May you be well and happy in the safety of your homeland. Welcome to Singapore !!!!!!! I can already feel your pulse very closeby......
youre coming in here while im going out. *sigh lol looks like were not fated lmao!!

anyway, you maybe surprise to see a lot of changes here and all over singapore, your profession suit the need of singapore and being a man of wisdom that you are, you can make it big here.

anyway, there are new hawker centres you can check out when you come here, chomp chomp and newton were superb, dont be surprise about the ERP scheme and singaporean's kiasuness and queue addicts lol

well, just be yourself eric, singapore is waiting for you.
You should be very proud, you have achieved much while living in your adopted country.

Good Luck!!!!
Take life as it comes at you. Too many times people over plan what is going to be for their life. Sometimes you have to chuck the rule book and wing it. Once you get there, don't over expect or even under expect what will happen. Just take it as it comes. Take time to adjust to your new surroundings, although it being your home land it shouldn't take you too long. You seem to have a great head on your shoulders (meaning you are very well rounded, grounded and smart). Take a deep breath and assure yourself that you are doing the right thing. And know, that you have many, many friends that support all that you are and all that you do. Take care my friend and be sure to keep in touch.
That is exciting! Hope that the move is good for you!

Better get your computer set up as soon as you get there so that you can keep those questions coming!

Blessings to you!
Bee happy in home nation.Keep in touch with us as we have grown wiser in last few days by answering your philosophical questions. Your new designation it self shows that you have gained renewable power. use the energy in positive manner. Be happy and keep the family very happy. Serve the nation to the extent you can. Since I am elder in age I am requesting you. Best of luck.
Know that you have reached this point through millions of past decisions/actions not necessarily through your own actions. Accept that you can only control this moment - and feel positive that you are making the best decisions for you!

Good luck, care for you and move on into your new life.
Be yourself, grow and never stop learning and creating your own person... no matter where life takes you!

Sad to see you leave our beautiful country, hope it was a positive experience for you, and i wish you prosperity in your life's journey.

See Ya Later !!
You remains on move .

It seams that you had

wheels in your shoes.

for change .
Remember to not chew chewing gum and do not litter as I think you get into a lot more trouble in Singapore.
Take it easy Live life slow, Always put your best effort into it, Don't get hooked on drugs and always write on yahoo answers. : )
Good luck my friend!
I wish you success in all you do. Remember hard work, and not cleverness, is the secret of success and that great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together. Good luck Eric.
THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME, HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS.
I would wish you only good things for you future and wish you success in all you do. Best wishes and may luck shine down on you hun x
Lucky you! You live in a beautiful part of the world! Good luck mate!
You are an extremely intelligent and thoughtful young man. This decision must have been very difficult for you.

You have a very bright future ahead of you. So many options to explore. New friends to make, old friends to reconnect with.

Try not to let everything overwhelm you. Take things one day at a time. For a while at least, you will miss Australia, and this is to be expected.

Remember the positive things that happened to you there, and when you remember the hurtful things, try to think of them as things you needed to experience to grow and become stronger.

Embrace the here and now. Reach out for all the things that you want in your life. Remember that your future is in your own hands, and the decisions you make now will help to shape that future.

Be gentle with yourself my sweet friend. You deserve all of the happiness in the world. Perhaps this is the reason your life has changed direction.

I wish you all good things on your journey. Take good care sweet-pea. You have much to offer this world.

Good luck to you.

;)
