OMG! I move in to my dorm/college life tomorrow! So scared. Words of advice?

I'm so scared.OMG! I move in to my dorm/college life tomorrow! So scared. Words of advice?
Take some multi bags of crisps/chips , keep some for yourself but out a load in the kitchen for people to share.


You'll be popular and it may foster a benevolent communal spirit.





Leave your door open when you can so people can pop in and say hi.





One thing I would say is take a relaxed attitude to who will be your gang.





I got to uni a day after everyone else and arrived in the evening so the halls were empty and I just had to walk into the campus bar and start chatting to complete strangers.


That was scary.





However it meant that I ended up being friends with people who were not on my corridor , this meant I found people who I had more in common with.





Take spare toothpaste etc as if you leave it in the bathroom it may well wander.





One final thing.


If you have any particularly strong views about emotive issues such as politics , religion or society's ills , keep them to yourself for the time being.


Hold back and make a considered judgement about people and don't just hang wit your own type.


It's nice to be nice.


Most of all take care and have fun.

im just a freshman in high school so i dont know much but...


stay on top of school(i mean your paying a ton of money to be there!! or your on scholarship and you worked too hard to let it go!!)


stay away from guys sure fliriting and dates are okay but you dont need to have sex.


uhh and just make your dorm as homey and you can! put flowers in it or posters and pictures of friends and family but im sure it goes by really fast!!!

make sure you wash your things often and keep your tooth brush in a secret spot.


dont let others walk over you because its your place too
Yeah, don't make a big deal and enjoy it while it last. Time flies by fast.
Be nice and outgoing in the beginning to make friends.
