however I know it is going to cost me a fortune to buy all this fabric... does anyone know where I could get some super cheap fabric or do you have any different ideas for ceiling decor that might be cheaper? I want it to look romantic... tia!I need some words of advice for a budget bride please :)?
Walmart sells fabric or if you go to a church maybe ask if someone in the church is good at sewing. Or you can ask your co workers school mates if they have anyone in their family who is good at sewing.I need some words of advice for a budget bride please :)?
Actually, this may sound crazy but I'll share. I've heard of using plastic table cloth that comes on a long roll for ceiling decorations. Since it's so far from the guests, they won't be able to tell that it's plastic and not fabric. I haven't tried it myself or seen one in person so I'm not sure exactly how it would turn out. But you could give it a trial run on a smaller scale to get an idea of how it would look. The table cloth roll can be found at Party City. It's about $13 for a roll that's 100ft long.
Well its the length that makes it expensive. But you can buy the sheer material by the yard at Michael's. It will be pretty because its above you and too far away for anyone to notice what the material might be. Its relatively inexpensive. Just go and tell them what you need and they will give you anything that closely resembles it.
You can buy whole bolts of fabric at wholesale prices online.
