Im a bit unsure about your question but here we go. Ewes that are lambing do need monitoring 24 hrs a day in case of any problems. You will need or she will a supply of warm water and towels or similar to help dry the lambs. You will find that it is not unusual for them to give birth to 2 or 3. If the placenta does not emerge with the lamb/lambs then you will need some pessaries from the vet which need to be inserted into the vagina to aid the cleaning process and prevent infection or even gangrene. I do hope this is not a wind up and I have wasted my time. Good luck (to your wife anyway)My wife is lambing for the first time soon , words of advice please?
