What Words of advice would you give to students as they enter the 21st century workforce?

Life is a giant POO sandwich

and we all have to take a bite!!What Words of advice would you give to students as they enter the 21st century workforce?
you are special, you are unique, you are one of a kind and you are the future ! you were born with a purpose. find it. it will give you joy %26amp; bliss, but, not necessarily pleasure, fame,or material wealth. be open minded. be pure. no matter what...be gratefull. don't let negative thoughts poison your well being. we are more advanced than any other time in history. corruption, greed, selfishness, and lack of compassion have, also, advanced. keep up to date.don't fall backwards.on a daily basis ,spend at least (10) minutes in the following: read, study, exercise, meditate %26amp; pray, proper diet %26amp; selfless service(call your mother/father/brother/sister, offer kind words to someone, give $ 1 dollar to ALL different religious groups on different days,or a homeless, visit a pet at the humane society, sincerely praise the janitor, teacher, or bus driver, help an old lady across the street).Yes,that is (50) minutes every day(.035%x a day). be genuine, be creative. be open minded ! be patient, be determinded. use iron will power and your Big Heart power. Remember, you are special. find your oneness power ! good luck, may the force be with you. p,s. money can be good, but, it's not everything. be very cautious !What Words of advice would you give to students as they enter the 21st century workforce?
Unfortunately, the world is not fair. I have learned that getting a good job is MUCH more about who you/politics than what you know. You do not NEED a college degree unless you have a specific career goal or it is mandatory (law, nursing, medicine, etc.).

Get involved in your community to make connections to get the jobs. Be prepared to send MANY resumes and be ready for disappointment.

BUT learn from every interview you have and appreciate the experiences.

Do what you love. Check out career options that will allow you to have a job that involves something meaningful to you.

Make sure you know how to interview. PRACTICE. Ask people for tips.

Create a GREAT resume. Let someone else look at it.

Volunteer!

Keep the faith. With this economy you need to.
You could own your own franchise! I make good money and I do it from the college campus. Check out my website and watch the business overview. Let me know if you are interested and I would love to add you as a manager! www.fhtmus.com/reneburgess
I would tell them that if they're basing their work ethic on a valedictorian's speech, then I'll take some fries with that.
work hard at whatever you do and don't forget you are a human being who will always need another human being, so be kind and shooo...
